Mandana
Raised by a civil engineer, Mandana developed an early appreciation for spatial planning, functionality, and design. Combined with exposure to travel, culture, art, and architecture, her path toward interior design emerged naturally.
Mandana earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago. Through a variety of internships, she refined her skills and discovered a strong passion for residential interior design, ultimately shaping her focus within the industry.
With over 15 years of experience, Mandana has worked on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale remodels to large renovations and custom new construction homes. Her portfolio reflects both versatility and a deep understanding of the design process from concept through completion.
Mandana views interior design as an inherently personal endeavor. Working closely with clients in and on their homes, she brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every project, guided by a strong attention to detail and a commitment to understanding each client’s unique vision.
Her passion, curiosity, and industry expertise allow her to consistently deliver refined, functional, and beautifully crafted spaces tailored to each client.
Ryan
Ryan’s work is shaped by an early exposure to both the natural landscape of the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in Seattle, he developed a lasting interest in form and structure, which led him to study Sculpture and Public Art at the University of Washington and to create several permanent installations throughout the city.
A background as a Division I rower and later coach instilled a strong sense of discipline and performance, which continues to influence how he approaches his work. His time in Chicago further refined his perspective, immersing him in a city defined by its architectural legacy and ultimately leading him to pursue a degree in Environmental Design Studies in Architecture at Dalhousie University.
Over the past 15 years, Ryan has worked across design-build and architecture firms in both Seattle and Chicago, contributing to projects that range from commercial spaces to custom residential homes. His time at Ikka Construction was formative, giving him a hands-on understanding of how a home is built from the ground up and grounding his design work in the realities of construction.
